has a full calendar of special events. Some of the major ones are listed below, by city, beginning with the earliest through the end of the year. This is, by no means, a complete list as there are dozens of festivals, fairs, arts and crafts shows, etc. in the area, every month of the year. You are sure to find something going on in either Cape May or Lewes whenever you visit the area.

Cape May Jazz Festival in April
Cape May Spring Festival – begins in April and continues through the first weekend of May
Cape May Music Festival - runs throughout the month of June
Cape May Strawberry Festival
Annual Cape May Victorian Fair
Annual July Promenade Art Show – a tradition in Cape May for 40 years
Cape May County Seafood Festival – a July tradition with great seafood, entertainment and rides.
Great Cape May Foot Race – an annual event for over 25 years
Annual Cape May National Golf Club, Golf Tournament and Social, usually held in July.
Queen Maysea Coronation – a tradition for over 70 years in Cape May, usually held in the month of August
Jackson Street Oktoberfest
Victorian Week, usually held in the middle of the month of October
December Christmas Candlelight Home Tours – these self-guided tours feature homes, inns, hotels and churches decorated for the holidays, plus strolling musicians and carolers, trees and home baked goodies and warm beverages.
